It’s always good to see two iconic companies come together to produce something special. Recently, Volkswagen partnered with Fender Musical Instruments Corp. to develop a new premium audio system for 2012 VW vehicles. According to Volkswagen Charlotte, the first vehicle to receive the Fender Premium Audio System is the Jetta GLI, followed by the Passat and Beetle later this year.
“The best seat in the house is now behind the wheel of a Volkswagen,” said Jonathan Browning, President and CEO, Volkswagen Group of America. “Our two iconic companies—one with a passion for driving, one with a passion for music—are joining forces to bring the raw emotion of live music to the driving experience.”
