At the LA Auto Show next week, Toyota will be showing off an electrified version of its RAV4 crossover. The EV is made possible by a partnership between Toyota and EV maker Tesla, which received $60 million to develop components for this vehicle.
“This is a test fleet,” Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, said in a conference call late yesterday. “The initial phase is in the couple thousand-unit range.”
