The Nissan Leaf went on sale this month in select launch markets. Consumers that have had a chance to get behind the wheel of this advanced vehicle have been impressed with its practicality and power. But buyers also believe that an all-electric vehicle will help save them money in the long run.
The Nissan Leaf is priced at $32,780, minus a federal tax credit of $7,500. And, as the only electric car of its kind of on the market, Hoekstra believes it is extremely practical, despite its current exclusivity. After all, the Leaf is surprisingly roomy and some fast-charging stations can fully charge the Leaf in as little as 30 minutes.
