Suzuki Kizashi Gets Sportier For 2011

Suzuki Kizashi imageThe Suzuki Kizashi is already a sporty choice for midsize sedan buyers, but for the 2011 model year it will get even sportier thanks to the addition of special Sport models. This new Sport package adds a range of features to make this venerable sedan look and feel like more of a premium sports sedan.

Leveraging the impressive foundation of the Kizashi SE, the Sport GTS and Sport SLS versions get a comprehensive makeover aimed at delivering a confident, athletic driving experience. Upgrades include reworked sheet metal that now shows off a more muscular front fascia with chrome accents and a lower grille, body-side sill extensions, lower body-side moldings with chrome accents, a trunk-mount spoiler, lightweight Sport-specific 18-inch alloy wheels and a lowered ride height that raises the bar in terms of aerodynamics, enhanced performance and superior handling. The interior of the Kizashi Sport models has been revised as well, most notably by the addition of a sport steering wheel with a perforated-leather grip that transmits more road feel to the driver’s hands.

    The name “GSXR” has been around for 25 years and is one which Suzuki must be eminently proud. Their family of GSXR bikes has been one of their most successful ranges and this is due to the massive amount of race success they have achieved in all areas of racing from club and national level up to British Superbike and World Superbike level.
