Subaru arrived at the 2010 L.A. Auto Show able to brag about another record sales year, both in the U.S. and worldwide–660,000 vehicles. With new designs across most of the model lineup, they took this opportunity to show what could be the new design language for the brand, which was unveiled in concert with a new marketing slogan: Confidence in Motion.

Subaru Impreza Concept interior. How much of what’s shown on the Impreza Concept will make it to production is anybody’s guess, but the emphasis is on a more aggressive, angular look. The interior follows suit while continuing the dashboard-to-door connected look.

Under the hood is the latest 2.0-liter boxer engine connected to the company’s Lineartronic continuously variable transmission. The pair constitute the brand’s next-generation drivetrain.
