Ram Offers A Full-Size Truck For Outdoor Enthusiasts

Ram Outdoorsman imageIt may seem like overkill for Ram to develop a pickup truck designed specifically for boaters, campers, fishing enthusiasts and hunters. But Chrysler’s research suggests that the majority of full-size pickup buyers are actually avid hunters, fishers and campers already. So, behold the 2011 Ram Outdoorsman.

This fresh addition to the Ram pickup family brings together all the truck capabilities needed to thoroughly enjoy a weekend (or more) in the outdoors and then puts them in one affordable package. This includes enhanced towing features like a standard Class IV receiver hitch and both four- and seven-pin harness plugs, a limited slip differential, a robust cooling system and standard trailer-sway control on Ram 1500 models, along with all-terrain tires, fog lights, quad halogen headlamps and underbody protection for dealing with rough roads—or no roads at all.
