The coming year is going to be a big one for Nissan, especially with the launch of the Leaf EV. But other models are also giving the lineup an injection of style, performance, and efficiency. Two models that look especially promising are the Rogue and the all-new Juke.
The Juke will showcase the driving experience—and exterior design—of a high-performance sports coupe, along with the versatility and presence of an SUV. Providing the motivating force for the bold new Juke is 1.6-liter turbocharged, direct-injection gasoline engine, capable of making 188 hp and 177 lb.-ft. of torque. Mated to Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT), that engine delivers both responsive performance and EPA estimated mileage ratings of 27 mpg city/32 mpg highway. And for an even more dynamic approach to motoring, a six-speed manual transmission will be available on front-wheel-drive (FWD) Jukes in both the S and SL trims.
