Incredibility, Chrysler’s Mopar parts division has never teamed up with the automaker for a special edition production vehicle – until now. For 2010, the team has produced the limited edition Mopar Dodge Challenger.
The Mopar ’10 starts life as a Challenger R/T, with a 357-hp 5.7-liter HEMI V8 nestled under the hood, then gets access to the full catalog of Mopar goodies. The exterior wears a custom-look paint job in Brilliant Black, with side stripes and other accents in the driver’s choice of Mopar Blue, Red or Silver, the same colors used for the high-contrast stitching on the car’s leather-wrapped steering wheel and Katskin leather seats. Other interior highlights include a choice of Mopar-sourced shift handles—a “pistol grip” for the manual gearbox and a T-handle for the automatic—along with more Mopar branding and a unique dash plaque celebrating this first-of-its-kind creation.
