Poking fun rivals is just part of the territory when it comes to German automakers; after all just look at the ongoing BMW and Audi billboard wars. That’s why the folks at Maryland Mercedes Dealers find the latest commercial for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class especially entertaining.
The new commercial features a look-a-like of VW’s Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Ferdinand Piech, who plays the grim reaper in the commercial. This character attempts to put the driver in harms way, but ultimately the E-Class helps the driver avert disaster.
