Mazda3 Earns Kudos For Safety

2011 Mazda3 imageThe 2011 Mazda3 has just earned top honors from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Thanks to a range of safety features, the Mazda3 performed well in the Institute’s rigorous safety testing, and it even earned the coveted Top Safety Pick award. This honor proves that the Mazda3 isn’t only fun-to-drive; it’s also extremely safe.

After awarding the Mazda3 the highest possible ratings in all four components of its enhanced safety-testing evaluations, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has recognized Mazda’s top seller as a 2011 Top Safety Pick. The honor is given only to vehicles equipped with electronic stability control—standard equipment on the Mazda3—that earn top ratings in the IIHS’ tests of front, rear, side and rollover impact protection.
