Mazda Designers Develop New Design Language

Mazda Nagare Concept imageMazda’s flowing Nagare design theme certainly embodies performance, but it isn’t exactly fitting on more practical vehicles. That’s why Mazda is holding an internal contest to come up with a new design theme for the next generation of Mazdas.

“Nagare is done,” said Peter Birtwhistle, Mazda of Europe’s British design boss. “After the 5, it’s highly unlikely that there will be another Nagare car. Mazda has moved on.”
