GM Makes Improvements To SUV Lineup

2011 Chevy Tahoe imageGeneral Motors has long been a leader when it comes to producing hard-working sport utility vehicles. However, GM’s latest SUVs are packed with the latest and greatest fuel-saving technologies, as well as other features that help them perform better than ever. Among these technologies is Active Fuel Management, which comes standard on several models.

Even as General Motors successfully works to meet customer demand for high-efficiency vehicles like the Chevrolet Cruze Eco (capable of 42 mpg highway) and Chevrolet Volt (already helping drivers go more than 1,000 miles between fill ups), the company knows that for many people, there’s still no replacement for rugged full-size, full-capability sport utilities and pickups. That’s why GM continues to put so much effort into continuously improving its lineup—effort that paid off recently when three General Motors body-on-frame vehicles won their segments in the 2011 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.
