Ford Highlights Environmental Achievements

2012 Ford Edge EcoBoost imageFord has upheld its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its facilities and its products. Not only has the Blue Oval’s plants become less wasteful, but soon the automaker will have a slew of all-new electrified vehicles in showrooms. Already, Ford offers 12 vehicles with best-in-class fuel economy and four models that can achieve at least 40 mpg highway.

“The Blueprint for Sustainability encompasses a wide range of efforts at Ford to provide sustainable transportation around the world,” said Sue Cischke, Ford group vice president, Sustainability, Environment and Safety Engineering. “Ford is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its products and facilities, supporting positive social change and ensuring economic viability for long-term growth.”
