Chrysler Town & Country Reigns Among Minivans

2011 Chrysler Town & Country imageAlthough fresh offerings from Nissan, Toyota, and Honda, are expected to shake up the minivan segment, Chrysler’s Town & Country is still the king. In 2012, Chrysler sold 112,275 units of the Town & Country, and an updated 2011 model is expected to keep momentum going.

There, the Town & Country packs Chrysler’s cutting-edge Pentastar V6, which delivers significantly more power than the previous six-cylinder engine, but without sacrificing fuel efficiency. Mated to an advanced six-speed automatic transmission and supported by a comprehensively improved suspension, the Pentastar also simplifies vehicle ordering by replacing the three separate engine choices from the 2010 model.
