Bill Ford Jr. To Receive First Paycheck In Five Years

Bill Ford imageAs the Ford Motor Company began to struggle financially back in 2005, then chairman, president and chief executive officer Bill Ford Jr. decided to make a huge sacrifice and forgo a paycheck. Now that the company is on stable ground, he will receive a big paycheck once again.

After a five year pay freeze, which was initiated just before the economic downturn, Bill Ford Jr.  will finally begin receiving a salary again. He is due to receive $4 million in cash and up to $12 million in stock options, a sum that’s been backdated to January 1, 2008.
