From teetering on the verge of bankruptcy to becoming a bastion of innovation, Ford’s recent success could largely be attributed to the company’s chief executive, Alan Mulally. That’s precisely why Mulally was just named the Businessperson Of The Year Award by the readers of Fortune.
Weighing in on his victory, Mulally stated that, “everybody is so excited — our suppliers, storeowners, our employees and investors — because we’ve created a profitable, growing, exciting automobile company for Americans.”
