9 Exotic Police Cars

by Auto in the News on March 5, 2010

Bye bye Ford Crown Victoria, hello intimidation. Looking in the rear view mirror and seeing those lights flashing is bad enough, but things seem so much worse when you are pulled over by a police vehicle that looks just plain mean!

Law enforcement’s goal to protect and serve is best done by striking fear into the eyes of the public and after looking at these vehicles, that concept was never truer! Good luck outrunning these exotic police cars!!

Brabus CLS Rocket

Germany’s Brabus CLS Rocket, currently ranked the world’s fastest legal sedan, has 730 horsepower with a twin-turn V12 engine that can reach up to 225mph!

Porsche 911

The Austrian Police’s £65,000 supercar reaches 177mph.

Dodge Viper

Corvette C6

Lamborghini Gallardo

The United Kingdom may have messed up the paint job, but everything else is right in the 5 liter V10 engine spits out 500 horsepower reaching a top speed of 190mph.

Lotus Exige

Another police vehicle in the UK, a lightweight, high performance car faster 0 to 60 than many V8s.

Alfa Romeo GT

Strikes enough fear into the Australian public’s eyes for them to go and do this:

Nissan Skyline GT-R

Japan’s version of intimidation

Spyker C8 Spyder

Holland’s police vehicle has 406 horsepower, a V8 engine, and can reach 186mph. Plus Lamborghini doors just for show.

Was 9 exotic police cars not enough for you? Well, then, take a look at what the United States will be seeing in 2012!
