When the current generation Subaru WRX was introduced, some Subie enthusiasts were disappointed by the car’s more demure, mainstream looks. But for 2011, Subaru hopes to change those perceptions by adding a healthy dose of over-sized wings and bulging fenders.
The new 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI sedan boasts the new wide-body look introduced on the latest Impreza WRX, which means aggressive mods like a sinister lip spoiler upfront, a new “blacked out” grille treatment, wider rear fenders and, of course, a big ol’ rear wing mounted out back.
With the improvements made to the 2011 WRX and WRX STI, West Springfield Subaru suggest that what was already a solid performer, and good value, just got a whole lot better for 2011.
