2011 Dodge Durango imageThe Dodge Durango is all-new for 2011, and rather than just making it bigger and more powerful, Dodge instead is marketing the new model as a unique three-row vehicle that’s also sporty. And while the new Durango isn’t necessarily bigger, it still boasts its trademark styling and plenty of utility.

After a one-year hiatus, the Durango rejoins the Dodge lineup in the fourth quarter of this year, offering a whole new approach to the full-size SUV segment. This dynamic Dodge has been thoroughly engineered to maximize on-the-road driving excitement, boasting a rigid body structure, a highly capable suspension and a choice of two potent engines. The standard mill is the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, an advanced powerplant that leverages variable valve timing for an optimum mix of fuel efficiency and performance. Optional on the Durango will be the proven 5.7-liter HEMI V8, and while this engine is no doubt designed for power, it also boasts Chrysler’s multi-displacement system.
